Cup O Joe is an on the go cold brew brand I created with various different advertisements in both print and digital media. I made this brand and its ads in an attempt to tell a story through branding. The brand’s face is its mascot “Joe” and the viewer sees him go about his day because he drank this cold brew. The face of the brand is directly based off my boyfriend, Joe. His face is illustrated in the logo and is photographed in all of the ads. When this concept was presented, I told a story about Joe and his need for a fresh new cold brew brand. This cold brew is targeted at adults on the go who don’t have time to stop for a coffee, they can grab a can of Cup O Joe and start their day. With such a character as the mascot, its slogan “Cold brew with character” plays into the brand’s message very well. Customers have a character they can follow.
